I would vote, but both candidates sucks. Have terrible policies, and actively discriminate. I'll wait till next election.

But don't you know? Every election, since the dawn of time has been between some giant douche and a turd sandwich.

I haven't been following what elections are coming up but that "both candidates" doesn't sound very promising. In all of our elections the only one that has only two candidates is the second round of presidential elections.
I have to admit though that I hate both elections and politics.

Yeah. But i thought candidates were bad till i moved to Oklahoma. They don't care about the kids or even minorities. Hell, i can commend them for not faking it though... There arguments are literally, screw the Feds, I'm more conservative than this person. We're 45th in education, and that's okay!

Just don't vote for those two candidates there are still countless other things on your ballot I am sure.

It is necessary to vote it is one of the only ways we as citizens can voice our opinion.

You do have an excellent point. Just frustrating ruins the political process for me. Just seeing a state remain socially, educationally, and economically stagnant, blaming Washington for everything.

We have only elections for candidates (except two special cases). We cannot give our official opinions any any other way.
We had a referendum for ending the probation in 1931 and joining the EU in 1994. And those were only for giving people's opinion and government didn't promise to follow it. But in both cases they did follow the majority's choice.

Polls near me opened at 7 am and close at 8pm if you are working a double I am sorry to hear that, but should have picked up an absentee ballot.

Than just show up and write-in mickey Mouse or Shaq. The problem is by not showing up they assume you will never vote.

Wait, do you mean that complaining on the internet is not an effective way to voice our opinions and create positive change?!?

I voted, I turned 18 nearly 48 hours before I voted. I have a friend who turns 18 today, it really sucked for them.
