there's 2 types of teenage VW owner

but for me...

the other kind loves bass, drops, pace, and power. this is the EDM VW crowd, my VW crowd

Good choice!!! to be honest, I contemplated trading the GLI for a (gasp!!!) 1.8T beetle, but I won't. not now.... too much invested, especially with the new Michelin Pilot A/S 3's on there!!! I've got a mod list for the next year myself BTW!!!

I'm actually looking into a Malone Stage 3 kit now (requires the CR170 Turbo that came on Euro TDI's) I can get the turbo for around 250 Euro used (about $315) and shipped for another $75! If I custom fabbed the DPF delete (sort of frowned upon by the EPA, eff them I live a non emission state!) and bought the EGR delete kit (also frowned upon, and once again, f*ck them) for 175, that would be around 650 for the tune, $300 for the Turbo, $50 for the DPF misc materials (neighbor has a welder and all the other bits and pieces), and the EGR delete, it would be around $1200 total for a 75% WHP gain minimum with about a 110WTQ increase ;) 220HP and 340TQ is an awesome though for a 3150LB diesel station wagon!!!! :D

oh well! i'll have 255hp just from the tune. and I think 270ft-lbs, or something like that...
when money becomes a thing, i'll do a stage 3 clutch, cross-drilled rotors, sway bars, high-compression suspension and have them do me up a stage 3+ turbo kit!!

You wanna talk TSI power? how about 450hp and 380ft-lbs on 91 octane!

I'm not sure how fast my JSW will be able to go... but the Malone Tune removes the speed limiter ;) Add some aero bits and fly :)
