Bought it back when I had a decent job and was making enough to afford the payments, but I got laid off about 10 months ago and work is scarce. Now I'm going back to school to get my degree and don't have the income to make the payments. It has around 25000 miles on and I need to fix the cracked windshield, and it has a few small dents from a hail storm and one in a fairly unnoticeable spot from some ass hole who thought it was good idea to run a shopping cart into it. hoping to get at least 21-22k for it so I can pay off the rest of my loan and then when I sell my project car I should be able to pick up and older WRX. Its going to be sad to let it go but not much else I can do now.

I hate to talk smack, but 21-22K seems really high considering it's already got 25,000 (probably hard) miles on it, a cracked windshield, and hail + shopping cart dents. TrueCar says that in my area I can get a manual with Premium package BRZ for about $25,500 new.
In other news, that really sucks that you're forced to sell the car. Nobody wants that to happen, especially when it's a car you love or really wanted.

In my area they're going for 25k used with 25000 plus miles right now, and if i sell for less then I'm pretty much screwed as far as getting another car which is a necessity where I live. between selling the BRZ and my project car that I'm taking a 6k hit on for selling I'm not afraid of asking high.

As a fellow BRZ owner and someone whob also just lost their job- I know dat feelz. I myself am considering school and studying for the GRE's right now. Keep your head up and stay positive. Tough times don't last, but though people do.
What field are you in if you don't mind me asking?

Cyber security and computer forensics. as soon as I graduate I should be able to buy another one, and maybe by that time they'll have a turbo model, if no turbo may get a new WRX or STi if they put the 2l back in.

Aww, that's too bad. I really wouldn't want to have to part with mine.

I was going to say the same. I was going to purchase a new BRZ and the dealership was selling a Premium one for $23k plus fees.
