Meaning "fixed random shit and checked fluid and tire levels"
Having it like 7 feet off the ground is a terrifying sight.
We were going to fix the muffler rattle, but the way it's designed my teacher was afraid of damaging it beyond repair.
So we scrapped that idea and I checked the frame rails and everything for rust and the engine for oil leaks. Here's a hint, both were present. I also found a hide-a-key box with a key to the doors and my house.
Then I was going to fix my mirror cover on the drivers side. Turns out the plastic the screws screw into was broken, and there wasn't any epoxy in the shop. So I improvised.
You bet your ass that's scotch tape.
Then I got to school and there was a manual Crossfire in the parking lot!
So yeah, the Safari is as winterized as it can get on a budget of free.

Down here people just drive on their bald all-seasons. And wonder how their car ended up in the ditch on the side of the highway.

Hooray for bonus Crossfires. I like my Limited. I'd probably keep it forever if it had the power of the SRT-6.

I wouldn't be able to see under the duct tape like I can the scotch tape. Plus the duct tape would be a bitch to get the stick stuff off the mirror and cap.

You could use goo gone to remove the residue but your solution is easier overall.
