Need a whole bunch of keys on your keyring but don't want your key barrel getting damaged?
Just use a key hook dummy.

just take off the key and fob for driving and leave the rest of the keys on your pants...

I just have one key, on a lanyard that I wrap around my shift knob. No worries getting it caught or rattling around.

on my pants? but what about when I take the roundabout near work at 80kph?

thats what the carabiner is for; clip them to your pants and only use the driving key for driving. Its exactly what I do, in fact my key and fob are nearly identical.

Doesn't work on vehicles like my truck, which don't have a stalk on the right-hand side of the wheel (it's a manual).

Or... don't have that many keys haha.

nah they dig into me from the seat bolsters. normally I put them in the sunglasses bin just below out of shot. It's padded so they don't jangle. The key hook was put in by the previous owner
it actually lets less weight sit on the key than if I removed the carabiner and let the fob and owners club medal hang from it.

The red one was supposed to open the red door of my house and the green one was for the green shed.. but the locksmith who cut my keys is colourblind

if only. I normally take the car key off the carabiner and stuff the rest of the keys in a cubby hole just out of shot. The keyhook was put in by the previous owner who had a shit tonne of keys.

Oh, didn't notice that, good call. My truck has the barrel on the column so I doubt it has a key hook. That is a nifty idea, very practical.
