Everything come apart easy, no dirt or grease to deal with. SO nice.

Kinja'd!!!

Put remote start in the CX-5 since its getting cold out, and I'll have the garage full of Trans Am to work on this winter.

Kinja'd!!!

And just in case.... there is room to park another car in there. 16ft worth. The CX-5 is 14ft 11 in.

Kinja'd!!!

The Camry... 15ft 9 in. FFffffffffuuuuuuuuuu....

Man I wish our Cx-5 had remote start. My wife's old Malibu did and it was literally the only redeeming quality of that car.

It's SO EASY to put in, versus the old style kits. But even at my cost it's $400. Ouch.

There can be a problem with new cars. Incorrect service manual information. I.E. car has no audio due to a suspected bad amplifier. Manual says it's in the compartment under a seat. Disassemble interior to find its not there. Disassemble entire car to find it behind a tail light. Yay. Send lots of emails to engineering and hope warranty pays. More yay.

It was a bit challenging to program the key fobs to the system. Instructions said to press the start button to the ON position, then again to turn it OFF. Not mentioning pressing it ONCE puts it in ACC, twice for ON, then again for OFF.

Took me three times to realize they neglected a step, or assumed everyone to just know to hit the button twice which was not inferred.

Too bad at 2000 miles it doesn't need one. Two birds, one stone etc....

I know what you mean. A lot of work instructions are written that way. Nooblets in shops ask lots of questions because the only way to know what is meant is by asking or through experience. Gets worse with foreign makes whose instructions are translated at least once from a different language.
