Should be great on the straights, corners might be a handful though. I have an exam that Monday so I might not make it either, but definitely gonna try to. Also we're thinking of using A550 Trans-Am cars for our next racing series after this one ends.

TheVancen only made one around 7 the day of so that might be why. What car were you planning on bringing, the GT? Cuz that does really well on the Nordschleife, just saying.

No I was going to bring a Lamborghini. I plan on trying to make a GT for the 'Ring or using the MP4 cause my Luck with the GT's I think has run out.

Good to hear on the trans am cars. I'll look for an old Penske paint scheme for the Z/28.

SLS should be good. Its aero package is good on the flying sweepers that make up most of that track.

That McLaren's actually really stable which would probably be better than outright speed on the Ring. Corey's used it a few times and done pretty well with it, fwiw.

The '69 or '70? Cuz the '69 Z/28 is one of the few outlawed cars, sorry :( It's top speed is somehow like 15mph faster than the others cars. I was planning on using either the Boss 429 or '70 Camaro or '69 Daytona.

Corey used it once and smoked us all in a practice session so we kinda had to outlaw it. What we're planning on doing is adding Balance-of-Performance adjustments throughout the season, one of the reasons why we're doing A550 instead of 600 (the other being no one can download a storefront tune) so no one lags behind like in our GT races. And don't discount yourself, me and the Vancen finished within about second of each other at Road America using our Trans-Am cars as compared to three or four seconds in GT cars. This series is going to have some seriously close racing regardless of how good a driver you are.

Somehow it was hitting 180+ when the rest of us were only at 160-some, and that was with a stock motor. We were all using the six-speeds so I really don't know how it was so fast. What we're planning on doing is mandating full suspension and chassis upgrades and then having the rest of the PI points filled out by engine upgrades, that way someone doesn't just bring a 700hp car and murder us all on the straights.

Same here, but at least there's versions of those cars still in the game. I think I counted and there are like 15 different muscle cars from 1965-1975 anyways.

My '69 Camaro somehow managed to hit 180 with full forza aero and only a 420 hp 302. It was also surprisingly stable in the corners. A deadly combination.

There were fears before that initial practice session that it would be too fast, so I wasn't too surprised. I'm annoyed though because I was planning on using the Camaro until I found out it ran on liquid schwartz. Somehow I have to get my hands on the unicorn '69 Camaro SS so I can still run a Camaro.
