Guess who's Jeep is getting a new fuel pump?

This guy's Jeep! Friends and I came to the conclusion that the Cherokee's fuel pump was starting to go, which explains why it has been iffy on starts. Ascending unit happened to go too, so now's the best time to get the tank dropped.

Only, we were going to do it. But decided against it. Which sucks because there's not enough fuel in the tank to make it the 2 miles to the shop. Time to call AAA....

My friend has a 98 Cherokee Sport who had the same iffy start issues. He just changed the fuel pump and it solved EVERYTHING. So good luck!

Replace the rubber line from the tank to the fuel filter.

I was scared as shit when I looked at mine. Thing was crustier than a 60 year old MILF in Arizona.
