So today I came home from school, turned off my GLI, and the fuel pump still kept pumping gas in to the engine. I could hear it working away in the back of the car. I'm about to call my VW dealer, and see what's going on. Since I already had a fuel pump module replaced not too long ago, I'm wondering if it's related?
I'm seriously pissed that this keeps happening with the car. 2nd time it's going to the dealer since I got it. here's a 2014 jetta to make up for my '12's issues

I saw this once on an '07-ish New Beetle. I found that it was powering all the engine management components (injectors, coils, fuel pump, air injection & manifold switchover solenoid, throttle, etc) through the ECM via a wire that shared a connection somewhere but wasn't on ANY factory diagrams. It was on fuse 34, a fairly large diameter blue wire if I recall correctly. Oddly, with the fuse pulled everything returned to normal, with no codes or side effects. To this day I believe it was an internal short in the ECM, but had no way to confirm because the circuit in question wasn't documented anywhere.

As a temporary fix, I suggest figuring out which fuse is controlling the fuel pump and pulling it out so at least it doesn't drain your battery.

Again? Dude that sucks. At least you've got the CPO warranty. BTW hit me up on fb when you get a chance.
