Tonight I learned there isn't a Ferrari dealer in Missouri, let alone St. Louis. The closest one is in Chicago.

That might explain the lack of Ferraris around here. There is a Lamborghini dealer though, so there's that. I actually remember seeing the Lamborghini dealer a couple times. I'm pretty sure it used to share it's building with a Hummer dealership.

...It's a Bugatti dealer too.

I've also seen Lambo dealers that are combined with other high-end VAG brands

Some dealerships sell Lambos & Bentleys under one roof

This one does that. Seems like Bentleys are what they sell the most.

The closest any exotic dealer to me is in Atlanta, unless you consider Porsche exotic. That's 300 miles away from me.

That makes sense. Bentleys are comfy and can be driven by any rich person. You have to like sports cars to buy a Lambo. Even if you're buying it for status you still need to be willing to get in and out of a low car. Some people are't willing to do that and would much rather drive something big and cushy

Rarely do exotic dealers sell just one make of exotic. The one I went to in Atlanta was Bentley/Lamborghini/Aston/Lotus/Maserati, and the one in Denver was Bentley/Rolls-Royce/Maserati/Ferrari. They're usually called something snooty like, "Prestige Foreign Motorcars Ltd. of Wherever."

My experience has been that they are used to people poking around, gawking and picture taking, so as long as you aren't rude or pretending to be a customer when you aren't, they don't care if you poke around and take picture, certainly not outside.

This is kind of odd based on the very wealthy areas around St. Louis. I never really thought about it, but I have only seen 3 ferraris ever in 5 years of driving.

The detail manager at Frank Leta Honda used to be the head detailer at St. Louis Lamborghini.

That Hummer dealer is actually down the road a bit. In addition to Bentley, Lambo, and Bugatti, they also carry Maserati.

Come to the May (or is it June) Cars and Coffee and you'll see plenty. The Ferrari club makes a big showing at C&C once a year. I think we counted 8 or 9 this past summer. There's always one or two at C&C if the weather's nice.

Both owned by VW also, so I'm sure they're like I see you've ordered some Bentley's, how bout a couple of Lamborghini's to go with that?
