I don't think I've ever posted this on here. Keep in mind this is street legal and somebody drives this. It's terrifying.

Yes, those are jagged edges from a saw. Also, here is my friends F150 that drove itself into a building.

When I was a kid a cousin of mine cut the roof off his Dakota pickup and drove around for a few years like that. He also took the front disk brakes off a '67 Galaxie 500 because they wouldn't clear dayton wire wheels (it was a low rider). Granted here in NM there is no safety inspections on cars.

Take the cap off, and you have a Ranger. There are plenty of those around because they were built ford tough.

This is in Florida, so no inspections of any sort. As long as it has a VIN. It doesn't even have to be driven to the DMV.

The cap isn't removable... Without a saw at least. There went a lot of his roofs structural integrity.

growing up, I knew a guy that used to make his own trucks, he would buy a cheap station wagon, cut it, then use a sheet of plywood make to make the rear section of cab, & used wood screws to hold the wood to the sheet metal, then he used a piece of plexiglas to make a small rear window, & that was secured to wood with wood screws as well. he used some type of caulking to try to make it water tight. station wagons were dirt cheap, where trucks were expensive, compared, so he spent as little as possible.

he didnt haul anything heavy, he peddled junk, think Fred Sanford, or Sanford & Son tv show,

My dad started our company and the first vehicle they bought was a 63 Impala sedan that was wrecked in the back. They sawed everything behind the driver and made it a flatbed with a clear plexiglas rear window. It was the junk truck. They would stack junk on it until it filled up, then drive it to the scrap yard. Then one day, they drove it to the scrap yard and just parked it. You can keep it. They yard actually drive it for a year or two before actually scrapping it.
