My drive to work is so fucking stressful because almost every single person out there in my part of NC drives with zero regard for anyone else on the road. It makes me so angry I want to ram their cars. Fortunately, I have not committed any crimes. Is it so much to ask that people look in their mirrors, drive near the speed limit (especially on two lane roads with double yellow's) , and move over when someone wants to pass?

It probably is too much to ask. I have to drive with my dipped beams on 24/7 because otherwise people just pull out on me. I know my car is small but it's bright blue for gods sake. Most people seem not to have heard of mirrors.

We need real drivers tests.

I think it is too much to ask in reality, but it shouldn't be —- thats why it is frustrating.

Had a classic scenario of this today (in NC): guy cut me off. I was going 10ish over the limit, he was going the limit or 2mph over... he stayed in the fast lane blocking me for around 6 miles. He doesn't take countless opportunities to move right. Finally I go to pass on the right and he flips me off, pulls up on me and road rage ensues.... It really bugs me when people fail to follow the rules of the road (ie cut me off, don't move over for faster vehicles while in the left lane), and then get mad at me simply for trying to drive faster than them....

I did some Google searching today on the subject. Yeah, they think they're in the right. Like they shouldn't have to move over for faster traffic. It's not like you can not tailgate them either, they definitely won't move over of they think you're just cruising behind them. It's a catch 22 where the people who would like everyone to just share the roads end up being viewed by the people who don't as ass holes.
