That's why you need to buy my car. Look, I know the headline is clickbait, but seriously: I can get you into a 600HP, tire-slaying, child-scaring monster for like... thirty grand.

Here's the deal: I've got a 426 stroker built to custom spec (seriously - custom grind cam, custom pistons, custom heads) stuffed under the hood of a 2009 Challenger. It's got under 22k miles on it and it's amazing.

The most important thing you need to know about this car is how it sounds: it runs "glass-packs" at the tail end of a 3" exhaust system (and long tube headers). It sounds like 60's. It moves like it has no right to. And the burnouts. My god, the burnouts.

But it'll also turn 18+ MPG on long cruises. I recently did a 4k mile trip and it worked flawlessly. That's what you get when you drop more than $15k on a one-off build with reputable tuners. It's almost stock. Except for the noise.

And the power.

Then by that logic there should be a sub blog for people posting the ads of cars they're thinking about buying.

It's vehicle related, it follows the rules, who are we to say they need to go to a separate blog for it?

Having a blog like the Cigar Lounge is great, because it gives people an opportunity to separate personal stuff that either 1) they don't want to post here, or 2) doesn't really belong here. Even with that, most members here have at some point posted something personal related. We're familiar faces to each other, and it's nice to confide in a group of familiar people at times, so I find nothing wrong with that.

I draw the line at spam. No different than the mods or even Kinja Support staff.

Just look at Gawker.com at this point, and the sheer number of sub blogs. Sure it's great if you're interested in a single topic, but at the same time, isn't that why there are tags?

I think it's more of the way it was posted. I've seen posts here and there about people mentioning they are giving up their car and giving oppo people first dibs, cause chances are if it goes to an oppo home, it's going to a good place, but this was more of a clickbait headline that just doesn't come off well. Nothing wrong with a post about selling your own car though.
