I went to a dyno day with my college's car club! Below video is my 08 6.0 GMC 2500HD. Nothing too exciting, but I did a thing, and this is that thing.

It made 273/268, but torque should be about 10 ft/lb higher because he couldnt give it full gas with out it downshifting at lower rpms where the engine makes all of its torque.

It made top torque, and second highest power, only losing to a recent BMW. It also made the best engine noise, without question.

'murica

Just be wary of the downshift

Really? My '14 1500 w/ 5.3 gets about 20 on average and the C6 z06 gets about 19... driven "spiritedly"

17 -18 highway driving, but on a back road, with the tranny in 3rd on a back road to use the engine brake so i dont't die while keeping up with the Subies that also went on this trip, I got literally 7 mpg. I used a whole half tank of gas to go 70 miles. On the way back, i got double that cause it was raining.
