The new STI looks great in black/grey.

Even with the boy racer rear spoiler. Which I actually think it looks weird without.

STIs always get panned for their interior, and really I think it looks pretty good. I've sat in a standard Impreza though and the dash feels like it has a rubber coating IIRC.

The lack of any STI badging in the engine compartment is disappointing. Doesn't the intercooler-thing or whatever it is usually say STI?

It's a Subaru Impreza WRX S4. Essentially a WRX with the FA engine, tuned up to almost STi (EJ) levels of power...however CVT only.

Also, I love that they called it an S4 and also put in chromed out side mirrors on it. If you can't buy an Audi....

Does he have any interior shots? It was advertized as having a much nicer interior than standard Subbie affair.

Dark Gray Metallic (DGM) is a great color. It was available on a number of Subaru models, and looks stunning in the right light. The dash does have a rubberized feel to it. Same with the new Forester and BRZ (IIRC). I'm assuming the new Legacy and Outback follow suit, but I haven't had an extended sit in one yet. It's definitely a step up from the nice, but hard to the touch, materials from the previous generation.

The intercooler on the STI hasn't had the STI logo since the 2007 STi, the last of the GD Imprezas.

He probably has some but this was all I saw on facebook. At least based on GIS, while the stock photos try to make it look pretty schmancy all the "real life" ones look slighlty nicer I guess - just a bit of suede, some stitching around the center console and seats, and "carbon fiber" trimmings added on. Luxury!

Actually I'd think it'd be a pretty nice version to bring over to the US as the standard WRX, with a manual option - will probably help get over most of its economy car stigma.

It is a good looking color. But it seems like almost every new STI I see is either WRB or white.
