Got lucky with the cops today

Went on a ride with 15-20 other bikers today, had a blast. We were just cruising along minding our own business when suddenly, terror struck. There were police cruisers in front of and behind us lit up like the 4th of July. Being the responsible bikers we are, we pulled over. Apparently a few of us(*cough* maybe me *cough*) had caught the light as it was turning red so they stopped us for that. They said they had received complaints about a group of cafe-style bikes riding around (we were all on sport bikes so idk) but they were super chill and let us all off with a warning, didn't even run our licenses or anything.

Here's a crappy video that one of the guys shot from parts of it, he didn't stick around long enough to see the cops though unfortunately.

P.S. There's a nice ass shot of me at 0.46 white bike, black jacket haha

P.P.S. Also saw a gorgeous white convertible Jaguar F-type when we went out to eat it looked and sounded amazeballs. No sr-20 though :(

gotta love riding with supermotos. When youre on the sportbike watching them wheelie around everywhere, all you do is dream of being on a supermoto yourself.

I dont know if i could ride with 15 guys. I mean me and another rider have wwayyyy to much fun. Cant imagine how crazy it gets with 15!

Yeah supermotos are a blast, someday I'll pick one up as a second bike. And yeah riding with a bigger group is a awesome!

Wanted to swap suspension and brakes back on july 5th. didnt have time to finshed befroe I left for uni

Damn that sucks that's a big chunk of the year. I'll probably be doing all new suspension over the winter, stock sv650 suspension is awful.

I did it on a SV suspension as well:P what year bike and suspension? and does it have ABS? I can give you some pointers

2008, no abs. Haven't decided whether it's worth it to do a full swap or just springs and emulators. Will be replacing the rear shock for sure though.

ok, no ABS your fine. if I dindt have ABS I proabbly would have had it done within a week.

I say get just the full swap. buy a crashed GSX-R online for like 500 (they are there) and then take what you want and part it out.

for your speedo drive, you will need 8 magnets in the front brake rotor and a HAL efefct sensor to pick them up. the sensor I used was a cheery GS 100701. I knw for sure it work, so you can use that. Good luck!

Id really have to have complete trust in every one of those guys who id ride with. Trust, and the understanding if we hit one another, we have money at the ready to dole out for repairs. Thats if we would be uninjured. Ive had close calls riding with 1 guy. add 15 more. my word...

supermotos though. Thats all i want anymore haha.

Yeah we have a pretty good group of guys/gals we've never had any incidents on our rides. We have basic rules like single file around turns and not speeding in town but other than that it's just up to common sense.
