Fairly solid, but PLEASE CHANGE THE DAMN TIMING BELT!!!! Volvo called for a 30k interval on those, IIRC, and you don't want to replace 24 valves.

hmm i read that on the 97s its been pushed to 60k but i still would di it, i hear its very easy on the I6 RWD cars

Eh, I preferred the older redblock cars... So much so that I still have one, alongside my Mazda3. If it were me, I'd get one of the earlier Turbo cars, because they're a good bit easier to play with and a lot more fun to drive.

yeah, i prefer a redblock as well, but then again i already have a Mini Cooper S as a fun mobile.

I'd step back one year and get a 95 940 Turbo, if it were me. Same platform (albeit without the IRS) and easier to get power out of.
