Saw my first moose at Elmendorf AFB on a layover during my midtour to Osan AB, SK. Unplanned stop due to C5 breaking and an IFE (in flight emergency), normal stuff for those birds. Saw flashing blue lights in the window of my billeting room, looked out and a Security Forces car is slowly following this monster creature down the middle of the road. Bullwinkle absolutely dwarfed the cop car, and gave no f$cks about it following him. Lot more intimidating in person than on Nat Geo.

They re huge! This one is a kid and still pretty big. They also can be very loud with their snorting.
