I found a twin! I'm driving to a decent road because on Sundays it's full of classic cars, and I'm a right turn away from the entrance. I'm on a road, and an SUV ahead of me stops to let a cop enter his car on the side of the road. At my left turn a ways up ahead, I briefly see a flash of red that's some sort of sports car. Eventually, I turn left. At the end of the road is the parkway. To turn onto it, there's a merge area. At the corner there is a gas station. As I pass the gas station, I instantly recognize an '84 or '85 Corvette! Too late, though—I have to pull into the parkway.
At the first possible opportunity, I swing a U-turn and shoot back towards the exit next to the gas station. The Corvette is still there. I wait with baited breath as the two cars ahead of me pull onto the adjacent road that ends at the gas station. Finally, I have the chance to cross the parkway and pull into there. Thanks to a clutch in decline, I stall several times trying, in spite of my 1 mile turning radius, to pull up near the car and finally give up. It's a red '85 like mine (TPI and straight exhaust tips give that away) with a tan interior and glass targa top. The color scheme and targa top remind me of Magnum's 308.
I talk with the owner who was a really nice guy (he even offered to put the top on when I took the picture so it would look better), he looks at my car a bit, and that was that! Really cool thing to happen. I didn't end up behind anything very interesting, but there were some old 911s, a 356, classic MBs, and some other stuff.

Yeah, I'm glad he didn't pull away as I was busy turning around and getting back there. He's been slowly refurbishing it since Bin Laden's assets were frozen and His Majesty Prince Felix of Denmark was born. (I went to the Wikipedia page for 2002 in case you're wondering)

Definitely! Maybe not everyone is so tasteful, but it's a fantastic community. It's far better than the year 2002.
