Who wraps Audi race cars?
He's going to do the graphics for the wagon.

No. And how do I get my career trajectory to become one of those?

No. That is awesome! I haven't stolen a car in a while, can I meet your friend, preferably wherever this takes place??

He designed the wrap, and put it on, and has overnighted touch up vinyl pieces all over the world to keep that car looking good.
Let's just say that he told me how he got the job, and it was a case of knowing the right guy. We apparently know a lot of the same people, and so help me god if he tells me he's going to touch the Lancia Delta HF and re-do the graphics on it, I MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE PROCESS.

He's local to where I live. Are you in New Jersey? I can certainly bring you by his shop. The R8 hasn't been there recently that I know of, but I'm going to have him keep me in the loop, and I'm going to see if he'll let me shoot a video for him about the creation process and application on my car.

Chicago :( Thanks for the offer though. You should definitely keep us updated whenever he sends you anything.

Yeah, I was talking to him today, I was doing some work for him to get his shop back up and running. Glad I took the time to talk to him about some of the stuff. Hoping to get the wagon back soon so I can do this project.

I'll ask him to drop me a line whenever he gets something really cool into the shop. His website needs some video anyway, and I need money to fix the wagon, so maybe we can all work a little bit out.
I nearly lost faith I could really do video production, but now I'm feeling a bit better about it. Despite the wagon being down for the time being, I'm pretty confident that I can get things to start looking up in life. Gotta start somewhere right?

Will do. I'll also have him send me better pictures of the R8. Just to be clear though, that R8 wrap was done like, a couple years ago or so.

You can figure it out I bet. It seems much more complex than it actually is (depending on what you need to do).

That would be pretty awesome. A livery can make any car look at least 100hp faster.
Sorry about that other stuff you are going threw too.

Well, it's what I went to school for, so it's more that whole dream of actually being able to pursue a career in what my primary studies were, as opposed to retail.
I repair computers right now, but if I can make a name (and good money) for myself doing video production for some of the hidden gems of the car industry, I'd absolutely love to.

Thanks, things will work out. I'm just getting a couple decals done and a stripe, not a full livery. Not yet at least.

Go for it man, a lot of freelance stuff and barter jobs is a good way to get yourself out there, or so I've heard.

So far, I'm doing a little bartering with the shop that's fixing my Magnum. They have a broken borescope, so I asked them if they wanted me to look at it. The mechanic has a great sense of humor, so he told me sure. If I can fix it and bring it back, they'll put it towards my bill. If I can't fix it, I can keep it. Took the camera apart, and the lens was full of oil. Well, it's mostly cleaned, and I just need to hit it with a little bit of silcone so they don't do it again. It's not like it's a ridiculously expensive model, but it does still work decently, so I'll bring it back and see what they say. I need every extra penny I can get for the wagon.
