I only have to go to tech tomorrow. Then my mom's picking me up and we're heading up to Kirksville for the weekend to see my aunt and grandma.

The back seat of the Vue will be my home for at least 3 hours. Which is meh because they're kinda flat and feel like a park bench after a couple hours. Maybe if they were upholstered with leather and suede...

So nice for a mainstream car made by GM in 2008.

I went on a road trip in a 1st gen Vue. I've sat in more cushioned and better angled all wood church pews. Sooooo uncomfortable. Seems like a good car though

The rear seats are very uncomfortable, take a pillow go horizontal and nap.

The front seats in the second gen are really comfortable. And the back bench has two set inclinations for the seatback. Its always set in the more upright one, maybe the more reclined setting is more comfortable.

It works better in 1/3 but you can try and create a makeshift captain chair if the seatbacks are thick enough and share the same height as the door armrest. You get one large armrest and the door armrest plus reclining seat, I used to do that all the time.

Ahh I see. Do you like the 2nd gen Vue? It always seemed like a nice car to me

It's really nice. Interior is probably one of the nicer ones GM was turning out at the time. Drives really well too when you have the 3.6L V6 under the hood. It can somehow hold a weeks worth of Stuff for a family of four with the back seats up.
