I tried Oppo. But for a multitude of reasons, I just can't become interested in F1. This was the first year I've actually attempted to watch races and keep up on the standings. I figured, new cars and new regs? Sure let's give it a shot. Guess I was wrong.

My bias towards LMP1 is just too strong.

Actually going further than that bias. I prefer the team dynamics of endurance racing as well. It prevents drivers acting like spoiled brats (read: Hamilton)

Yeah probably the most dull series out there.

^ THIS IS FORMULA 1, not what's going on now. I haven't watched a full season since 2012. Anyway I watch when I remember but it's been going down for a while, while sports car racing is finally getting bigger.

The racing this season is better than its been in years. Cars from the era you show were filled with ground effects which made them easier to drive, while also more dangerous. You also probably didn't even watch in that era, you most likely watched the Schumi era to 2012 and that had the worst racing possible. Stop complaining needlessly.

I had more fun watching the Action Express Racing show , I mean TUSC Prototype class than I have with any F1 race.

I'm 16 and the only season I watched are 2011-this year. I'm allowed to have my opinion correct? I think 2012 was a great year. Main reason I haven't watched races is because I've been busy and haven't had the time to get caught up on them.

I've never actually been overly into F1, it's a shame what really interests me is anything from F1 before the 2000s.

I guess there's something to be said for IMSA's artificially created GTLM "parity."

Sorry, looking back my comment was a bit harsh and dickish. I stupidly assumed you stopped watching after 2012 because I've heard people doing that

I like the crazy aero the cars had in 2007 and 2008. Not sure how good the racing was then though.

It appears to be good from the DVD reviews I have. It hasn't been as good as it could've been the last few years.
