Paid off our mini van last week. So now comes the process of saving up some cashola for awhile. Then off to buy me a "new" daily driver. I started looking this weekend. Found a Jaguar XF for around $17k this weekend. Has about 92k miles on it. But I am not sure on the maintenance/insurance costs.

I've still got an Evo X in mind, as well as maybe a G8 GT, and now I've added a Lexus GS 350 AWD. But I keep going back to the Evo X.

Still a few months away, but at least now the mini van is paid off, and we can move into the savings stage.

Evos arent bad track cars, but dear god the interiors (even on the EVOs) sucked hardcore./

if you want a daily, id stick to the lexus. if you want a track toy, get the evo

Just not interested. I'm not saying they are horrible cars, or I hate them. Just saying I can not see myself happy with one. It just doesn't do anything for me.

I keep hearing that about the Evo interiors. But I talked to another owner, and he said he was happy with his Evo all around.

I'll have a track toy probably in another year or so, or in 2021 when I import an Evo IV. I will probably mod my daily, but nothing heavy.

The only other debt we have right now is our house. And we aren't paying cash for a car. Financing is no big deal for us. But we are going to have quite a bit to put down.

let me put it this way...aside from the seats and the steering wheel, the materials in the interiors wouldnt look out of place in a early 2000s GM product

believe us. If your going to get a track toy anyways, get the lexus anf then get the evo as a track.
