Which Current 911 Would You Take?

The Porsche 911: renowned for having a model range with a larger population than Lichtenstein. So, when playing the imaginary "I have lots of money, let's look at car configurators" game, I'm curious as to how people lean with their choices. Do you prefer the Turbo models? Something with all-wheel drive? No roof? A giant wing? The plain-Jane Carrera? Fire off in the comments with your choice!

I personally like the GTS 4. All wheel drive and lots of power sounds like a blast to me!

Also, not asking for an options list, just where you like to start. Let's keep it slightly simple, because I know that the options list for a Porsche is almost impossible.

Targa, saw it in person at a C&C event in Portland and fell in love with it, probably the only convertible I would own.

I'm not a huge fan of Porsches, but I'd probably get the Targa 4. It's fast enough for me (probably too fast) and "Look ma! No hands!" Also, on Porsche's Canadian site, there are 19 different 911 models to choose from.

Any of them, because I could turn around and trade a base, no frills, no options 911 for a Cayman GTS, which is what I would really want. But if I have to choose, give me a 911 Carrera 4 GTS. Best of all worlds in my opinion.

I'd take a GTS4 as well, but mine would have to be dark blue, with the Aerokit, and with a cream leather interior.

Also, I'd check off pretty much every option known to man on it

Assuming you get any 911 you want for free... get the most expensive one, sell it, buy Cayman GTS... and keep the rest. $$$

I would take a Targa 4S but I would get the silver bit of the roof painted body color. It's absolutely hideous in silver.

Targa 4S. I don't even like 911s, but I love this so much. Especially the roof mechanism. Some say it's overcomplicated, heavy and unnecessary but I say it's quintessentially Germanic. So unnecessarily engineered.

I'd get the most expensive awd stick one I could get, with every stupid option, including leather air vents and carbon everything. I want the biggest autobahn bruiser I could get. It would be dark blue. I wouldnt. Do this with every car. But when it's a Porsche you go for the best.
