I've never heard of anything like this

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Three shooters downtown , one is dead my whole downtown core is on lock down.

Parliament hill; Rideau centre; Ottawa university; all embassies(about 100) all on lock.

Busses taking a massive detour it's like the core just disappeared.

All the federal/provincal buildings are locked down, even here in Lethbridge.

This whole thing is pretty brutal.

with the american embassy, rideau centre, chateau laurier, parliament hill, doj, supreme court, about a 100 embassies and other federal govt buildingss within 3 blocks of each other....its a juicy target.

I was listening to an audio recording from (Parliament?) on the radio, sure sounds like someone walked in with a 12 gauge or very large caliber rifle, fired once and got cut down immediately with return fire from security. My office is within view of the Ogdensburg/Prescott crossing and they've definitely beefed up the presence there over the last few hours.

Yeah I keep a loose eye on Oppo type things going on in Ottawa, short of the occasional meet around Watertown it's easily the closest place to see car culture. Though Ogdensburg is a great place to observe depressing late 90's era econoboxes if that's your kind of thing.

Last time I was in Ogdensburg picking up parts for my collapsed suspension (all 4 shock absorbers broken!) I saw another car with only the rear suspension broken. Back end way down, front WAY up it was hilarious. You ever go to Boldt Castle? I went earlier this year, that place is wicked!!

I've been meaning to, I heard that they have a solid 4th of July fireworks show! I've only been up here for a little over a year now so I'm still getting a feel for what there is to do in the area.
