Couple guys out making deliveries started filming as the Jeep Cherokee in front of them starts swerving. They follow for a few minutes before, well, just watch. FF to 2:30 if you're impatient. NSFW language and VVS.

started watching and now I have the song that was on the radio in the video stuck in my head. Dierks Bently Drunk On a Plane. My Gf's taste in music is starting to rub off on me.

I didn't know Terry Crews worked a delivery job.

I was driving in rural Texas a few years ago, following a Pontiac that was all over the road. He finally put two right wheels off the side, overcorrected, and spun across the highway. I stopped, as did others, and we waited for the cops to arrive. Turns out the guy wasn't drunk; he was texting . Luckily, he didn't hurt anybody. The kicker: he was working for a car dealership and delivering the car to a customer.

The guy recording was right, they should have backed off.

Next time maybe they'll call 911 BEFORE following them to the scene of the accident, recording the whole time.

I assume he was promptly fired after the fact.

I think the lesson here is "if someone's driving is bad enough that you feel the need to record them, it's bad enough that you should call the cops."

I think that is a pretty safe assumption.

to all those saying the guy shoulda called 911 sooner, what would that accomplish?

Do you think the cops would have gotten there in time to prevent the wreck?

probably not.

I'm glad no one was seriously hurt, and i'll bet this accident involved a phone....I see this kinda crap all the time

Wow. I've been driving for almost 40 years and I *almost* fell asleep once after pulling a double shift. I drifted off the side of the highway and the rumble strips woke me up from daydreaming and scared the shit out of me.

I was only a couple miles from my house and I didn't have any problems staying awake after that.

It's a shame those guys didn't back off a tad.....I've seen enough YouTube videos of car crashes to understand the physics of vehicle accidents to know that accidents don't stay in one place.

Had they called it in and backed off, they might have not been hit.

Kinja'd!!!

Honestly though, I think the initial crash was inevitable. State police are investigating , and there's no word yet as to why the Jeep driver was weaving.

true... they might have gotten out of it. but like you said, i think the initial crash was going to happen no matter what.

i still wonder if her phone wasn't the cause, i see people do similar things every day on I-35

after reading your link, the guys doing the video found her with her phone in her hand right after the crash....hmmmmm.

i suppose she could have picked it up, but mmore likely she was texting someone.

it'll be easy enough to prove one way or the other
