All I can say is that I hope there is a huge PR backlash from this. I would be willing to bet that dealer experience is a major factor contributing to people who switch car brands. GM should know this and the fact that they're supporting those assholes makes it even more infuriating.

I saw the headline for the article and didn't even read it. My first thought was, "Of course they do..."

I hate to say it, but that's their M.O. Despite all the "New GM" talk, it doesn't look like it will change any time soon, either. SMH.

Well... At least this type of PR doesn't directly affect the picture the public has of GM's vehicles. While the recall debacle certainly does.

I don't even know if I'd call the Volt and Model S competitors. One's an all electric luxury car, the other is a hybrid mainstream car.

I used to be a GM fanboy but their early to mid-2000s crap turned me off. They were putting out some pitiful excuses for cars for many years and then they just seemed shocked that they weren't selling all that well.

Luckily I wasn't REALLY into cars until like 2010, just as the 5th gen Camaro came out. So they were just starting to build some great cars.

We had a 2006 Malibu and it was such a piece of junk that many times we would both just laugh when it broke down. Which it did. A lot. In fact, it had WAY more problems and way shoddier build quality than even my '99 Grand Am. It was interesting to see quality and reliability decreasing amongst GM models as the years went on.

Those corporate people gotta make their money.

I mean, I wish I could say I was shocked when GM went under, but even 7th grade me at the time could tell their cars for the most part were terrible. Luckily for my mom, she bought probably the best all around product GM made this side a CTS.

At least they got the cars together, now they just need to work on corporate.
