First, what is this car? I saw it outside of my high school, and I'm not too familiar with classic muscle cars. EDIT : It's a Pontiac LeMans.

Anyways, as per some of your suggestions, I have slightly modified my Nissan Leaf "Low Battery" design. It used to look like the first image:

It now looks like the second one.

What do you think of the edits? Also, what color should the charging station, arrow, and numbers be?

Nope, just a midsized Pontiac. The GTO was the hopped up version of it, but the LeMans weren't anything special.

Hmm well I think for this, just the outline of the Leaf isn't really very recognizable. If you had some windows & doors done as line art, it'd be easier to see "oh this is a Nissan Leaf."

Also, your original image just made me realize it reminds me of this:
