I made up my mind. I'm signing the papers for the CR-Z, only IF the dealer changes ALL the fluids on the car including the brake fluids and I will check them to make sure they were performed. I will also check the maintenance manual and ask that everything that needs to be done at 96000-110000KM is done.

I met my gf's father. The guy was so cool and like me so much that he invited me in a rally event where he'll drive a Lamborghini on the way there and a GTR on the way back. What's so cool about the event is that there's a cop spotter 5 km in front of us and 5 km behind us during the rally, which means that once they give us a go, we go flat out on public roads and he wants to give me the wheel on one of them! :D This is too cool. He almost gave me the key of his Genesis 2013 2.0T last night to try it out for the fun of it. The guy is just THAT loaded and doesn't care.

I also went to a WWE Live event with her and here's a fun fact about dem wrestlers. Dean Ambrose drives a rental Ford Fusion. R-Truth drives a 300c. The great Khali was in a GMC Yukon Denali. Sami Zayn was driving a rental Fusion. I don't remember much about the others. Fun night tho!

Why a CRZ, if you don't mind me asking?

It's 12k. I need something cheap on gas but it needs to look good and needs to be equiped. The Fiat 500 Sport fitted the bill but compared to a CRZ that I found by mistake, I like the CRZ more. And it's a manual hybrid. Quite interesting!

I wondered about the choice of a CRZ, not because its a bad car but because it has a lot of good competition. That said there are a lot more hatches with around 130-150hp that get over 40mpg here in the UK than in the US. You basically have the fiesta ecoboost and fiat 500 and the ecoboost is probably too new to be had for 12k.

Honestly, it's a good looking, manual daily. Out of curiosity, have you driven it yet? I drove a manual Fit of the same generation and the clutch was just crazy vague.

Yeah but the materials and equipment of the CRZ is much better than the Fiat. I get a Subwoofer with it, USB connection, AUX jack and Bluetooth included. The dash looks sweeter and the shifter and steering feel is great for such a car compared to the 500 I drove.

I did drive one. It was a fine "sporty" car IMO and the clutch felt great. I didn't felt lost at all even thought it's not as grippy as the one on my NC. Try the clutch of the fiat 500. You gonna cry and won't be able to drive the car properly at first. It's THAT weird.

Oh yeah I definitely see why you got it over the 500. The 500 probably wouldnt be as refined or fun unless you stretched to an abarth. My car shares a chassis with the 500, it's tight and chuckable, but wont be as grippy or refined as something like the CRZ.

The 500 is probably more grippy lol. But definitely not as refined. + NOBODY gets a CRZ. So again, I'll be the only one in the neighborhood to drive a car no one has ever seen or seen a few times.

If the 500 was more grippy it must be tyres, on the smallest tyre size you can get they like to break the front tyres loose, the sport must have wider alloys.

Having something unique is always good, the CRZ is a decent looking thing.

Well more grippy...I meant lighter lol. But it turns faster than a CRZ for sure.
