I always loved the V8 Vantage sound, but this might just be better.

as you may know, I work at an Aston dealership. Also, my store is right in front of a LR and Jag dealership. The way the road between us is, the Jags have to go a little further down, do a U turn, the accelorate by my ears on an hourly basis. And the cherry on top, my store is also a Mercedes dealer. So basically, every couple minutes, I listen to many awesome Jags, AMG's, and Aston going WOT throught the road right by my window. A true YSI heaven. BUT...... I have to agree with my Lotus salesman (we also sell Lotus). He (a former racecar driver since the late 60's) says that the Evora S is the best sounding car. Why? We agree that it has the more racecar and pure sportscar tone. Those others are brutally great, Agressive, but not what we consider a real sportacar sound. Dont get me wrong, I was pleased all day at LoneStar LeMans woth the beast C7.R passing by, but when it comes to sportscars, my vote goes to the Evora S. Those V8's are something badass for sure though.

It sounds good, but it also sounds kind of fake and overly metallic.
I put it in the same bracket as the current and until-recently formerly current Mustang GT. They sound great, but unnatural for what they are.
