...But I am having this random, overwhelming want for a Monza Spyder. I'm really not exactly sure why, but I just want one really badly. Specifically, one to DD. I just think it is a great looking car that would get plenty of looks on the road. Not to mention, it would at least be decently entertaining to drive. I wouldn't care if it was beat to shit, I just think it would be a fun car to have. If money was not an issue, imagine how cool a resto-modded one of these would be. What do you guys think?

I'd love a 305 5 speed with basic handling mods. Not a bad car, basically took all of the bad qualities about the vega and eliminated them.

It would be a fun car, honestly. The issue is that you cannot find them anywhere anymore. As TheVancen pointed out, I've obviously been watching too much Roadkill.

Theres one rusting out in a yard near me. Pretty rare to see them in Australia. A few big names raced them in the early 80's though

Yeah :( I constantly search CL for them, but I've only found 2 or 3. And those weren't even Spyders. I actually come across a decent amount of Mavericks, though.

My mom had one for a short time when I was young. All I remember is it being rusty and a giant spider painted on the hood.
