I hate to say it... but I think I like it?
It's rather unique and looks like a good job well done. It doesn't impair the performance in any way and allows both husband and wife to express what they like.

the guy's wife is amazing. she had the patience to do that to the whole car, make it nice, and let the guy upgrade the mechanicals too (which i assume was without too much protest?)
