front lip test fit

My buddy was able to get my lip in for paint and it turned out beautiful. The quality of work is fantastic. But. And this but is more or less my fault. The color is just slightly off. I mean, the rest of my lip kit and even the rear bumper are not a perfect 100% match either. He came by with color cards, and i had to make the choice of which to paint it. What do you guys think?

Ill go by and show him once i get it installed. He totally backs his work. But he's a good buddy of mine and id feel bad if he had to back and respray it. I dont know...

He might be able to blend it down. I don't know, I really like how that looks, and the color doesn't bother me all that much.

That said, if I was getting a body colored lip on the Magnum or SL, I'd probably be really nitpicky about it too.

Ill go and show him, and see what he thinks. Im not afraid to ask about a respray... But id rather not have to go through it all over again.

Plus, the paint on that bumper is 14 years old. The lip is a day old. Dont know if there are any difficulties in matching that sort of thing.

Yeah that was a while back, last august actually. Fog lights are the bomb! I use them just about every day.

My biggest worry wouldn't be the colour but how badly the lip fits to the body.

Its a perfect fit. Its an oem honda part.
