It's on Chevy's website, but it's been a while since I've heard anything about it.

They released pricing I see, $20,995 starting doesn't seem too bad.

But "Available early 2015" doesn't really say much.

What is the Trax again? Is it the Chevy version of that tiny Buick?

I've seen a few rental trax, oddly enough, but no personal ones. Its just a Buick encore with less stuff as standard. Seems to be selling well (the encore) and gets decent reviews.

I see a ton of Encores, so I expect to see even more Trax since it's cheaper and slightly better looking I think.

From what I've read and don't understand is that the encore is a surprise hit because of its unique place as an entry level luxury compact crossover, im not sure if the trax sales will be as strong since they are different buyers, but who knows?

Didn't think of it that way. But the Trax slots into that "Funky crossover" segment the Juke, Soul, and soon HR-V share right now that seems so hot.

Good point, and people might be willing to look past its slowness in that sector, where its generally panned as a luxury vehicle. a 1.4T is a little engine for a lot of small car.

I'm excited for those too. They look super fun. I won't get one, but maybe a few years down the road, it there's a certain lady in my life that wants something similar, I'd be all over it.

I see them all the time on the street in Canada. We've had them around 2012.
