My friend has a 2001 ML430, his parents had it since new and they gave it to him a couple years ago. It has over 170k miles and it's doing pretty well.

It has decent pickup and torque, the interior is 90s Benz interior, it is comfortable but a little bit loud on the highway (I think it's due to having original shocks).

The handling takes getting used to cause dat hydraulic steering.

Yep! 270hp IIRC. 4.3L

268 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 288 foot-pounds of torque at 3,000 rpm.
