This thing is my rental for the next 10 days. Only 960 on the odo (I'm the 2nd renter). I'm thinking of doing a short review at the conclusion of my trip.

You can't touch it with your voice; it's not PHYSICAL!

I'm in St. Louis; does anyone know of any Cars and Coffee events or anything like that around here? I'm here until the 23rd.

Is it turbo? For shits and giggles, try to build boost while it's cold.

It literally cannot. Somewhat impressive, I'm sure it's a safety for the car, but still, annoying.

C&C starts at 8 and goes until about 10ish. I usually arrive around 7:45 to get a parking spot and watch all the cars roll in. Try to make it out if you can! They changed locations for the last show and it's only going to get bigger and better!

The show is out at Westport Plaza next to the Arsebucks (Starbucks). Basically at I-270 and Page Blvd. The address is 111 Westport Plaza Drive.

Turnout is actually really good. People in St. Louis have a terrible habit of keeping their cool or classic cars locked up in their garages, but they always break them out for a C&C event. Here are pics that I took of the last show , if you want to take a look. This saturday I believe is the last meet of the year so it should be a good turnout!

I hope to have my Datsun there if I get it running properly by then!

I did; I'll have them online in a few days - I'm exhausted, but getting some downtime from my cousin's kids this evening. Loved your show - I liked how easy it was to shoot; ours has unfortunately been marketed like crazy this past year, and has been overrun by families bringing their 5 kids and 3 dogs and no show car (granted I brought a rental Dart and my cousin's kid today, but hey, it's a special circumstance for me). I've actually grown tired of my home Cars and Coffee because it's so hard to enjoy the show - a year ago it wasn't like that - it was a car culture secret, but the secret is out and publicized now. Your show is still purely car guys who love car culture, which is the best. It hasn't been bastardized by annoying marketing.

Which Datsun was yours? I spotted three, and shot each of them.

PS: I think I saw someone shoot a photo of my Dart... I hope they didn't touch my Doge. :-P

Glad you enjoyed it! The show isnt as large as I'm sure youre accustomed to, but what it lacks in numbers it makes up for with great cars and great owners! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures you took.

I unfortunately couldn't get my Datsun out to the show. I was too busy to fix the problem with the fuel system so I had to drive my Subaru haha

Agreed. I will likely be back in December, but then I'll be traveling with family, so it will be more difficult for me to break away from that. Plus, it sounds like you don't have them in Winter? Back home it's rain or shine, every weekend, year long.
