Today I went on a drive with our Fairlady club. We drove from Woodland Hills to Beverly Hills by way of canyons and PCH. When we got there, Ferrari happened to be hosting their own 60th "birthday party." So on top of having an awesome drive with an awesome bunch of guys, I got to see cars worth over $20,000,000!!! It was honestly unreal.
See that BMW? It belongs to an ex-Opponaut. And this is what's under the hood:

I'd seriously take this over an F50 or F60 any day.

Red Datsun roadster? I think it started life as a 2000, but it's has an SR20FE now and is over 200 HP IIRC.

They were always called a Datsun 2000 Sports down here, though a Datsun Roadster in the US?

It's not too hard to find parts. They were the Datsun Roadster or Datsun 2000 (not sports) here.

fair enough. I want one regardless. 200HP would be about the sweet spot for something quick enough to keep up in modern traffic but not too stressful on the old chassis.

Wow. I'm a huge Ferrari fan, and my weekend was very exciting at just a few points, and the rest pretty much sucked really badly. That looks like such a truly amazing day. Congrats on the great day man!

God, I love that 330 TRI/LM Spider. I remember back in the early 2000s when it changed hands for $6+M, right around the time that I saw it down here in NOLA. Car has an incredible history and those carb stacks are car porn, for sure.
