This is going to be personal for a bit, so I'll leave you in the hands of an NSX - I would like to apologize for the stance.
So a few days or weeks back, I couldn't help but notice my friend (the same person I treat as if they were my little brother) was a bit sad, and I ended up doing something that was a bit... Well, let's just say unexpected.
I gave away $280 to him and told him to go buy a PSVita, a game of his choice and a memory card. And when he went into overdraft (curse me and my horrible math skills) and he needed $40, I ended up giving him $50. He wanted to pay me back but I shook my head. It was a bit early, but I practically gave him a christmas present.
I mean, sure, I won't see that $300 again, but hey. If it meant bringing someone I care a lot out of a slump....

when my dad died, people came out of the woodwork with stories like this; help here, cash there... There was a time apparently he pretty much gave a car away (an older buick station wagon) to a family in my neighborhood that, despite doing Oscar worthy work (seriously, dude won a posthumous Oscar) couldn't pay the pills. No one knew...not even my mom. it was crazy but not surprising now how well attended his funeral was.

I don't know your friend but even though he wouldn't give the money back he is surely going remember your good thing and help you when you have worries.
I'm fine with the stance of the NSX but I do dislike red cars (when the Italian national racing color excuse cannot be used). Annoyingly the only NSX hanging out where I live is also red (but otherwise it looks really clean). I think that NSX is the most awesome car with a V6.
