In the 2014 best driver's car video, MT had the following to say about the Fiesta ST. "It is the best named car here. This car just wants to party." And you know what? When I was holding a small slip angle as I went up an on-ramp today while doing a grocery run (WITH traction control on).......Yeah that was pretty accurate. But what really made that moment was the music.
Duck Sauce is a music duo who has like an 80s pop/90s synth/70s effects mash of EDM instruments and techniques. It is not too heavily "produced" so the music is very crisp and flowing. A lot of modern EDM stuff has 8 million instruments and uses three editing programs to cram everything in. But here? Only what is necessary. It feels like modern remixes of 80s music but done in an 80s style.....Probably because they do sample a lot of 70s and 80s pop music. NRG is definitely the best song from their album but a few of the others are pretty good too. Definitely one group to watch. Oh, and stay away from the skrillex remix. It is dildos.
