Sure, the 1982 was not Corvette's finest moment styling or performance wise, but it was the last of the best-known generation. It also brought along fuel injection (sort of), a revolutionary slushbox (only option), and aluminum suspension components (collector's edition only). But that music though.

If you think that was bad you should check out the video for Martha and the Vandellas "Nowhere to run".

It was shot on a live assembly line for the Mustang.

Safety was Job 8.3.

I still love the late C3s. They look great in my eyes.

I forgot, was that the premier of the 700r4 or the metric 200-4r?

They are cool looking. That motown video was pretty great, but there wasn't really much regulation until further down the line... '82 was the premier of the 700r4.
