Kinja'd!!!

Once the mini is taken apart that is. I spent some time in the garage this morning. About fifteen minutes. and it started up after a year sitting just fine and runs like a sewing machine. It purrs along. Flintstone holes in the floor and rust siezed brakes mean it goes no farther than that. So i'll have to just pull the subframes out and do the body....sigh. If I get it up on this contraption, I'll call that the winter success story given how work/family/time goes.

is that wood? tsat makes building one much easier! I have also seen them made with harbor freight engine stands if you build one out of metal.

Yes it is wood! there's plans for metal pipe versions too. Havent decided yet on either one, but the cheapest will win im sure. Part of learning how to do all of this involves welding the metal pipe version (wich is reportedly incredibly easy) together and that gives a head start on spot welding panels.
