'03 R6, Prolly a bit high at $3,750. But about $3,000 would be fair.

Honestly decent pricing I'd do it if you have riding experience.

I believe the '03 was fuel injected so it should be dead-simple reliable with a good battery. Also he's already done every mod you'd reasonably want to do to it. Only drawback is it sounds like it's been stored outside, but that shouldn't be a big deal.
Is this going to be your first bike? Most folks will say "get a 250" but you'll outgrow that almost immediately, and then have to flip a bike. A lot of the 500 options are fairly heavy and outdated (you'll buy a ~2003 500 which has been in production since 1989) and really aren't great beginner bikes. The R6 is very lightweight and very easy to ride and maneuver, and most of the power comes on high in the RPMs, so it's up to you to short shift and not be an idiot.

Id say worth a look. Small nicks and scratches you honestly wont end up caring about.
Like the other guy below said, fuel injected. Thats a ton easier to deal with than the carbs.
Plus i like that color scheme. I dont see many in a blue white like that. Personally i dislike the flush turn signal thing, and would revert that back to stock. I like to make sure people know when im turning.
Price seems about on par with my areas pricing.

It wouldn't be a beginner bike, It would be a 2nd bike.

what was the first?
Ive seen worse deals. bike looks relatively clean. already has sliders, a tail tidy, flush mounts and a can.
just remember if your jumping from a 250 or something that the 70-90 HP bump can be....frightening. Personally, i would go to an SV650 first, then an R6 or another SS

The first was a '13 Suzuki Gw250. I had about 5,000 miles on it.
The bump might be a bit scary, but knowing my limits I think I'd be fine.

Yes, this is a good idea. I don't know the pricing around your area but 3500 would be pretty fair because of the low mileage.
