Spotted a 2014 Cadillac CTS V-sport in the wild. The craftsmanship and the detail are out standing. The icing on the cake was what i found in the tail lights.
the photo does it no justice. The devil really is in the details some times.
Bonus Abarth badge from a 500 a guy at work DD's
seriously cool badge. Needs something cooler than a 500 to wear it though.

This is on the Escalade too. My mom's boyfriends chrysler dealer has a 2004 Escalade, and it has the signature on the front, in the metal.
Can't find a picture on google but its this model, the rap video one.

nice, but I don't count those things are real Cadillac. haha still though, Cadillac sure have come a long way in in their effort to restore american cars back to the forefront of the automotive world, and I'm not ashamed to admit that they did it from profits and status gained with the Escalade. Even if they are not real Cadillacs.

Beats the Cirramon and the Catera by miles though. Those where less Cadillacs than the Escalade. At least the Escalade is big, flashy and american, like how Cadillacs should be, even if it is a fancy Tahoe/Suburban. Cirramon and Catera both where... odd.

I agree fully. The cirramon, catera and escalade are all good examples of things that are not real Cadillacs. You can not just add badges and better interior options to a vehicle and call it a Cadillac. Lincoln, I'm looking at you here. Theres not wrong with platform sharing but in order the worthy there needs to be special engine/drive train options, better suspensions than those featured on the stable mates. It should also bare no resemblance to them either.

I'd probably say the older Escalades where not real Cadillacs, but the newest one I like alot, it doesn't look as suburbany as the others, it looks more stately. And it has those volvo-like taillights, I love those. 2015 Escalade is the first Escalade i'd honestly buy.
I do believe it got more differences from platform mates this time too, like suspension and stuff.
Cadillac has really stepped their game up, i'm loving it. For a while I said I'd never buy a Cadillac. Now? The XTS, CTS, and ATS looks interesting, the 2015 Escalade is so much better than the Lincoln Navigator (that looks like a straight up rebadge). Only Cadillac I don't care about is the crossover, SRX.
