As in block them? So that they don't display at all? Not without using external tools to replace/remove code/text. And even then, you'd likely encounter some issues.

They've talked about it before. But nothing has ever come of it. A block feature could be useful for some specific situations, but I think it would be difficult.

FB allows you to disconnect yourself from another person, such that they dont see what you post and you dont see their posts. Kinja has dismissal but that doesnt go far enough IMHO
