It's funny because he cancels class almost every other class. We're supposed to meet twice a week. I think the last time that happened was the middle of September.
He did say "I'll be right back" though. But that was about 30 minutes ago.

You should check out your school's policy on absentee professors.
Sometimes, they'll let you leave after fifteen minutes or so.

The Maldonado thing is kind of funny but it's interesting that "bad" in English is distinctly different than "bad" in the Romance languages.
I did some digging into the etymology of the word "bad" and it comes from Old English (very different from Middle English) with no apparent relative to other European languages.

The polite thing to do would have been to cancel the night before so you wouldn't waste time showing up, or at least have an intern tape a sign on the door so you're not waiting around.

I wouldn't have left anyway, this is my only class of the day, so I'd be wasting transportation money otherwise.
