So after this whole Argentina debacle, I was thinking, what are the top ten times the Jeremy Clarkson and Co. pissed someone off?

My favorite was either the Southern United States episode, where they were attacked by rednecks, or maybe Hammond's Mexican joke.

What do you guys think?

Argentina

Mexicans by calling them lazy

The Myanmar special that nearly got Clarkson fired

Trip to the South in the U.S.

Who else have they notably pissed off?

The time Clarkson said those strikers should be publicly executed in front of their families. As usual, I think everyone overreacted.

Truckers:

"Shift, murder a prostitute, shift, murder a prostitute, shift, shift, murder a prostitute..."

This one is definitely in the top ten. Oh and of course, N-word-gate.

It has been proven that the south episode was scripted, and it actually took place across the state line in Florida.

"We got an Emmy for 'best non-scripted show that's not from the U.S' "

"And why didn't you attend?"

"I was too busy writing the script for this week's show"

It's no surprise.

Though that was taking completely out of context. He said the strike was good because it the streets of London were great without all the buses taking up all the space and then said though this is the BBC and I should say something impartial for balance, words to that effect, and then said that strikers should be publicly executed.

Just media sensationalism at it's laziest.

I pretty much knew that when I saw it ... no problem with scripted because there is plenty of spontaneous humor as well.

You can't really take anything too seriously from Top Gear (or in life for that matter). The show is structured to be offensive. It's more British comedy than actual car show.
