It hit me, Alfa will get not one, but two replacements for the FWD Giulietta, but Marchionne said that all FWD Alfas will be killed off. Could this mean...

Kinja'd!!!

RWD hot hatch for Alfa?

Don't mind if I do.

I only care if they actually bring them state side (STOP TORMENTING ME ALFA, YOU BASTARDS).

After going to Italy and seeing the Mito and Giulietta on the road, I must say, I would totally rock one as a DD even if it was FWD. Look way better in person than in pics.

One will be a sedan for sure, maybe will will have a hatchback version for Europe and on it will be based a sedan vertsion like it is very popular today. So it would be extremely cool if this happens, because the BMW 1-Series which is the only RWD hatchback will be dead or dying by then.

I would think they would now that FIAT owns Chrysler and Alfa would actually have a lineup of cars they'd be back. Of course they'd need to not rust out but that's a different story.

Don't worry, they will launch the car and they will still wait another couple of years for studies of the marketability of the new car, on the American market.
