Hopefully less than 3 hours until I pick up the M5. Noon can't come soon enough.

less than 3 hours before you take a large (totally worth it) hit from depreciation . congratulations on your soon-yours new car, hopefully when I'm out of college the M5 price range is my price range.

the car I'm buying is a 1990 E34 M5. It's pretty much only gonna go up or stay the same in value at this point. I don't think I'd ever buy a current M5 new, even if I wanted one. They lose like $10k the minute you drive then off the lot.

ahh, sounded like you were getting one new. I think if I made enough u would, but realistically speaking (averages for my future feild) I would buy one CPO if available.

yeah, CPO is the way to go. That's how I bought my 335xi. It was mint-only 39k on it when I got it and $20k less than it would have been new. Only car I've ever bought new was a 2008 WRX. I don't think I'll ever buy a new car again.

Unless Audi brings a rs6 avant over, a CPO M5 is most likely in my future.
