Found a bug I've never seen before in my house

Apparently it's a type of Cryptopid Centipede, don't know anything more specific other than it's all black. It was being attacked by ants so I sprayed it with windex (which slowly kills ants), and now I think it's pretty much dead.

In my experience it kills them in a couple minutes, which is not the fastest way to kill ants.

I used to get those in my bathroom before I fixed the exhaust fan. They seriously creeped me out. I know in the rational part of my mind that they are ultimately beneficial, but my lizard brain just can't cope.
