Owned the thing for two days! Then some idiot backs into and caused probably well over $2k worth of damage. Dented tank, bent clutch, bent handlebars, snapped right foot peg, cracked headlight, bent and cracked turn signal, dented tail pipe, probably more I can't see. Nearly dumped it trying to limp it home. Well, at least he left a note and number.

wow. this is why I rarely leave my bike in the parking lot, I park it next to the doors or at a bike rack.

my advice? go to a ducati dealer and let them fix it. sticker shock will be an eye opener to that guy.

Oh its going to the Ducati Dealer to get fixed and OEM parts only. I guess I can finally get the red tank i've always wanted! And using the phone number he left, my roommate found him on facebook and he is some lame-ass artist. This will most likely have to be an insurance claim to get it fully fixed.

well, let me tell you this: I know someone who broke a clutch lever on a ducati. replaced it with a CF one from the dealer.
guess how much that little piece of CF cost.

the tank and the exhaust are going to be the nasty pieces there. the tank you might be able to get one, but a exhaust....well, might as well get some termongetis. and those frame sliders we were talking about so this doesnt happen again.

I wish I could afford termigioni exhaust! I was going to order the frame sliders tonight but there is no point now. The thing is dangerous to ride in current condition and my riding season is over anyway because of this. And damn, that is an expensive clutch lever!

Hard enough to snap the right foot peg clean off! (probably hit it with their bumper) Hopefully the frame is ok but the left handlebar is clearly bent, my fingers have a hard time reaching the clutch, using the rear brake is almost impossible without a peg for my heel.

ok, you have clipones, so the actual bar is bent.

rethnal motocross bars. I had one on my blast. bad-ass looking bar.
turns signals: just get LED ones. dont even bother with ducatis parts list
headlight: ehh,. this you may have to do dealer, maybe some aftermarket projectors
did the peg break off, or the whole rear set? if its just the peg, you can get some CNCed red ones to match your (soon to be red) tank
tank: dealer. sorry.
exhaust: if you cant afford termis, look into a couple of cheap delkavic cans (200 for a 6 inch carbon fiber can) and get a pair of those instead. LOUD L-TWIN NOISES
